Thomas Jefferson
Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826) was the third president of
the United States (1801-1809) and author of the
Declaration of Independence. He is considered by many
to have had one of the most brilliant minds in history. He
was a philosopher, educator, politician, scientist,
inventor, naturalist, pioneer in scientific farming,
lawyer, architect, musician, and writer.
